What it means when top pages shows /wp-login.php | WordPress.org

Hi, I’ve been monitoring my sites statistics after installing this plugin. I find that the number 1 in top pages is /wp-login.php (around 18.8k visits).
What does this mean? Does it mean that someone is trying to log into the site?

Yes, there are lots of robots around that try and brute force access to your admin user.
