    The answer is in this thread and this thread.

    Those other two threads are now closed to comments, so I figured I would post my thoughts on these headers here. Yesterday someone was complaining their anti-virus software wouldn’t allow them to read my site. Long story short, I removed those two head tags and all is fine now. I wrote the experience up here.

    If WP is going to have things like this installed, they really need to put a preference in to turn it off. Please WP, don’t force things down peoples throats. Do the right thing and include the ability to turn something like this off. Better yet, make this a plugin, so people can uninstall it if they want.

    Folks at WP might want to also further research this issue to make sure others are not having their sites blocked to their visitors.
