# What is trackback?

 * I want to know what is the meaning of trackback? I am new and started writing
   blog 2 days back only. Today when I was checking the traffic details of my blog,
   I got to know that 2 of the visitors used the link [http://www.mywebsitename.com/trackback](http://www.mywebsitename.com/trackback)
   after visiting my website and hence, please let me know what is the purpose of
   using ‘/trackback’ after my website domain name? Also, is it good or bad? Should
   I disable this feature, if it is bad?
    Apologies for asking too many question
   regarding this, but I have no idea what this is as I came across this term for
   the first time in this context.
