What would be the smallest (recommended) image size for social sharing on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest etc?

and if switching to Yoast – is there a way to import previously used social shared images on posts?

The smallest recommended image size would depend on both the social networking site, as well as the format of the post. You can check the recommendations for these on the developer pages:

https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/tweets/optimize-with-cards/overview/summary-card-with-large-image

As for importing these settings no there is not currently a way to import these values, but thanks for suggesting a new feature for our plugin!
