What is the selector for post titles?

  • I’d like to change the color of the post titles on the Front page and give them a hover color as well.

    h1 worked for the title on the post page but not the front page.Is there a separate selector for the permalinks on the front page?

    (sorry if I’m unclear.

  • try this:

    h1 .entry-title, h2 .entry-title, h3 .entry-title{
      color:#99cc66; /*change*/
    }
    h1 .entry-title a:hover, h2 .entry-title a:hover, h3 .entry-title a:hover{
      color:#66cc99; /*change*/
    }

    Add the above code to the style.css’ of your CHILDtheme:

    You don’t have a childtheme yet?

    1. Install and activate ‘one click childtheme plugin
    2. create the childtheme
    3. activate the childtheme
    4. Make the changes in the CHILDtheme!
    – copy php files / css-file(s) of the original theme [as required] to the childtheme directory and edit them as required.
