What is the filename of Webp pictures ? GREAT PLUGIN !

    hello,

    Great plugin, but can you tell me what is the filename of Webp pictures ?

    if my jpg pic name is hello.jpg, will the webp be hello.jpg.webp ?

    The reason is that I want to try your plugin to generate WebP again, but I already have webp on my server and I don’t want all webp images twice, so if your plugin comverts hello.jpg to hello.jpg.webp, then it’s fine, as the new webp generated by your plugin will replace the old webp images that I have.

    Hello @cacabe,

    Thanks for your message.

    The plugin saves files to its own /wp-content/uploads-webpc directory, so your /uploads directory is not affected.

    Thank you, but what is the filename extension used by your plugin ?

    Does it save
    hello.jpg
    as
    hello.jpg.webp

    ?

    I need the filenames to be similar as my old WebP to replace them after compression.
