What is the email field used for?

    By default the pop up form will required an email field.
    I tried enter an email in test mode, but upon successful payment, I didn’t get any confirmation mail in my inbox.
    Can I disabled this field since it is not used?

    Hello @wp_dummy,

    You cannot remove the email field as Stripe requires this field.

    Also, be aware that Stripe will not send a receipt or payment notification if you are in test mode. They only send out emails for live transactions.
