What is “posts paged” and how do I turn it on?

“Post Paged” allows you to restrict the main page to list a few of your posts and then allow for Next Page (and Page 1,2,3) navigation with the use of a couple of plugins like Paginate or WP-Navi.
You can see on my blog, at the bottom, it points to the other pages that contain posts.
You can set the config in the Admin section, Options->Reading.
If you set it to just “posts” you don’t get the nice multi page thing.

Thankfully, it will be history in 1.3
