Support » Plugin: Popup Maker - Popup for opt-ins, lead gen, & more » A good alternative to the OTHER “Pop up Maker” team

  • EDIT :
This is the Pop Up Maker I’ll use for now. I got confused by the exact same team name.
I let the initial review so the users can understand the answer of the team.

( initial review, turning not to be related to this product :
    – The popup is not created nor hosted within your website
    – The popup will be deactivated after two weeks, asking you to pay

That is why I recommend using an other module if you want a popup, a popup requiring a “premium plan” is problematic when there are so much modules out there that does the job fine while hosting the popup on your website and being free ( while still being customizable to your needs )

edit :changed “one week” to “two weeks”
    )

@zeropol – I’d appreciate if you delete this or at least update it, I don’t believe your even talking about this plugin.

This Popup Maker plugin is and always has been FREE!

    – No trials. Its a plugin, plain and simple. And its GPL, so you actually have the code already.
    – Popups entirely on your site, never on ours. No data from your users goes to us.
    – No SAAS service to make it work.

I can only assume you meant the “other” popup maker (lower case because they don’t deserve it). You can find it here to leave a review: https://wordpress.org/plugins/popup-maker-wp/

I hope you can update this as every 1 star review hurts, and even more so when its for a competitor that essentially copied our name to ensure they created such confusion. Shame on WordPress.org team ultimately for letting them in with a same name but out of our hands.

Wow indeed I fell for this trick.
Please accept my apologies and an edited 5 star review.
You can be sure I’ll use your product next times.

@zeropol – Many thanks, appreciate you taking the time honestly.

Sorry for the confusion, it sucks but we moved on some time ago and just have to keep putting out the small fires like this that it creates.
