An option to add a source to the linkedin post.

I don’t understand what is a ‘Source’. I googled and can’t find anything about adding a ‘Source’ to a Linkedin post, so I really appreciate if you can elaborate.

It may be depreciated in their platform. But for instance when we do a contest on our site, and add linkedin as an option for sharing I add http://contestfriend.com as the source. It will add it to the nofollow link that’s added and shared to the linkedin post.
Can you enable editor to the Twitter Text, Facebook Sumary, LinkedIn Summary, and Pinterest Description, so we can add there http://mysite.com follow links for seo purpose? (like with the LinkedIn Source).
Or, alternatively, a field in ‘settings’ for adding a follow link, and a shortcode that will insert that follow link into these description/Summary areas?
