I don’t know what you see when you go to my web site with Maintenance activated, but this is what I see, and I can’t find a way to fix it. There is a background image that I chose, and the text is supposed to be centred. The problem is that the maintenance page I see when I’m logged out seems to be broken. There is a broken gif icon on it, and the text is all to the left. The whole design is gone.

Frankly, I am trying to figure out whether it’s a plugin problem, or a web host problem, because I have in fact caught this host tampering with other blogs of mine. And before I accuse them of this, I want to find out if it’s really them, or a plugin conflict of some kind.

    Thanks for your time.

    Hi,

It seems that the stylesheets and an image are being blocked by your server with a 403 status code. See https://prnt.sc/KkWVi0mM3WW-

It’s odd that I can open them directly without issue. So it might be some access control lists or some firewall blocking the request based on referrer. I’m not a server expert so I don’t know 🙁

You should try asking your host.
