I think it’s what the .com stats plugins use for tracking.
It’s possible the the forum does – or did – use Crazy Egg for stats, yes. Not sure if it’s used now, though.
If I view the source code here, I find a script:

…it is still running a time serialized script.
The method scr + ipt is used to confuse scanners..
