  • I would want to know the issues I would have if I all of a sudden decide to switch my theme with another theme I just like how its multifunctional aswell and has alot of things on it.I have a major website for my city its like a music guide etc and lots of written content.I know I would lose all my content but besides that I also know I would lose seo which I don’t care because I have a “local” website ????

I have dedicated hosting if thatnhelps

  • No, you should not lose any content at all – content is in your database. But you would have to redo things that are set in theme options — like menus, widgets, other styles set in the theme.

Your content would not be touched by a theme change although the layout/presentation might be. As for SEO, that would probably depend upon what theme you are using now and what theme you switched to.

No issues at all. You may lose some functionality if you are using theme specific things such as a slider but that’s not really a issue IMHO.

You would not lose any content. Posts, pages, and all comments are stored in the database. Changing the WordPress theme does not effect that.

Edit: Mine is the third reply? That made me giggle. *Waves to Esmi and WPyogi*
