• Hi,

We are trying to understand the behavior of the plugin. We are using default settings.

Our notice has 3 parts –
    1. Message
“We use cookies to ensure that we give you the best experience on our website. If you continue to use this site we will assume that you are happy with it.”
    2.Ok button
3.X button (to close the notice)

We are trying to understand –

[A] what happens when user clicks on X button –
    1. Is that considered user is Ok with it and cookies are stored ?
    2. How long are the cookies stored if user clicks on X ? Same as set up in ‘Accepted Expiry’ setting ?
    3. Does it then allow google analytics and other plugins to store cookies ?

[B] what happens if user never takes any action on the notice –
Does it allow google analytics and other plugins to store cookies ?

    [C] Rejected Expiry setting
This default setting is set to Month. But as described above, our notice doesn’t have reject option. If users wants to use our website, we need them to accept or not use the website. Given this, when does Rejected Expiry option is used by the plugin ?

Appreciate any help on any of these questions. Thanks in advance!

    Thanks,
    ETM
