• There is no explanation as to what this plug in dos or what it is for.
    Is it just another post type that lets you post YOUR data in a People type category? how about some examples of how that can be useful, Give me something that will fire up my imagination a bit. -or-
    Dos it let me set up accounts for other people so they can post to the system? And if it is the latter, then were are the screen shots and instructions on what the users will be seeing when they make there posts?

    Most of the wordpress plugins are just so lagging in there descriptions and examples of there functions. So the only way for me to find out what they really do is by trial and error. If there was only just a little page of instructions on how to use the plugin after institutions, that I could read before I plug it in, that would be enough for me to dope it out. Please give me more information?
    Thank you.

  • this plugin can be used in certain themes (e.g. WPAdvocate) to create a page of people with photos, job title, biography and other information. The photo blocks then appear as widget blocks on the page. I don’t know if any other themes have made use of it. Unfortunately the plugin has a number of problems and the author doesn’t provide much help.

    @nonlin
    Here is an update. I just installed the Display Posts Shortcode plugin on my site, created a new page and entered the following shortcode:
    [display-posts post-type="People" image_size="thumbnail include_excerpt="true" wrapper="div"]
    That produced a page with a listing of the people I had entered in the People-Profile-CPT, including their images and writeup. So just treat it like any other custom post type.
    Hope this helps.
