What does this error mean?

  • Hi there,
My site has been working just fine and now when I go to it this morning I see this error at the very top of my page:
    SQL/DB Error —
[Got error 28 from table handler]
    Anyone know what this means?
    Thanks a lot

One of the reasons this can occur is that your disk is full. Your storage quota has been met and you need to free up some space on the drive in order for WordPress to breathe again.
Also check that the filesystem in which WordPress is installed is in working order.
http://wiki.wordpress.org/index.php/Error28 contains the official answer, fix and detailed information about this issue.
    Good Luck.
    Joe.
