Yes in the referrer column shows whether the visitor arrived from a referring (or linking) page. E.g: If the visitor came from another website with a link to your site, or if the recorded visit was from another page on your site.
No means the visitor arrived directly on your site
Google bot etc will often show a NO referrer status, as will visitors who’ve bookmarked the page in their browsers and accessed directly (also if they copy/paste or type the URL in the browser address bar.
If you look at some of the data display options, you’ll see the referrer in the details (In ‘Who’s been online’ try the sort by ‘Last Visit’ option for example)
When there’s no referrer, this line of info is blank (missing)
