What could change direct links to links to file in uploads?

    Hi.
    Suddenly all links on my website are now links to
    http://mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/something_here

    I am 100% certain this was something like

    http://un.org/something

    or

    http://linkedin.com/something.

    What could have done this to my posts ?

    Is there a plugin that changes links to links to files?

    What have I done wrong ? Could this be Yoast or some SEO optimisation ?
