[Resolved] what class/div etc to style the color of the input text ? please

  • HI everybody
    I’ve put the contact form for a friend, but the background is black and the text appears really dark grey.

    I know a bit of CSS, I’ve tweacked a _S theme for him but can’t find the right bit of code to put the text you type in white so you can actually see what you are typing…
    any chance someone can help ?

    I’ve tried

    span.wpcf7-form-control-wrap {color: #ffffff;}
    div.wpcf7-text {color: #ffffff;}

    same with p

    and no changes… 🙁

    Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS troubleshooting. Or use whatever developer tool is available in your web browser.

    This will set the text box border and fill color of the text box itself.

    /* sets CF7 textarea border and fill color */
    .wpcf7 input[type=text], .wpcf7 textarea {
    	border: 1px solid #A0A0A0;
            background:#CCE5FF;
    }

    Place in your style.css file.

    thank you so much ! success !
