Quick Cache (Speed Without Compromise)
[resolved] What are all these "detected changes'? (4 posts)

On each page in my WP admin I get notifications like this:
"Quick Cache: detected changes. Found cache file(s) for the designated "Home Page" (auto-purging)."

    What are these?
And is there a way to make these notifications stop? They take up so much space on some pages.

    Thank you

    Hi Wonderful Wanderings,

These messages are about Quick Cache detecting that some change has been made that would require the cache to be cleared, to prevent stale/outdated pages from being served to visitors.

Quick Cache Pro includes a section called "Clearing the Cache" that allows you to specifically disable this functionality, or only disable the messaging associated with the functionality.

    Please see the documentation here:

    Thanks Raam,

I've read the documentation but I'm not quite sure yet if it's necessary that I clear the cache manually when a message like this pops up?

    Thanks

No, it's not necessary that you clear the cache manually. Those messages indicate that Quick Cache already took care of the clearing for you and it's just letting you know that it took some action for you because of some changes that it detected.
