• I’ve installed Nivo Slider for WP 0.3.3 and Header Image Slider 0.3. I’ve uploaded and cropped images in Nivo.

The header images I uploaded in Nivo images don’t appear on appearance > header; only my previously uploaded header images and the default images appear. If I select “slider” next to my previously uploaded images, the slider displays only those images (and they are not displayed in the size selected).

How do I get the header Image Slider to display the Nivo images?

  • You are using two different slider plugins and want the images of one to appear in the slider of the other?

Nivo slider is already included in this plugin so there is no need to install it separately. Also, WordPress will ask you if you want to crop your images. Just upload the header images from within appearance > header and off you go.

    Thanks for clarifying.

The following sentence in the description made me think I needed the Nivo plugin too: “As of now it only supports Nivo Slider.”

If Header Image Slider incorporates Nivo, does it offer the same functions as the Nivo plugin, such as the ability to choose image sequence?

No, this plugin doesn’t do that. The image sequence depends on the order in which the images are uploaded.

The only settings available are those for transition (effect, speed) and navigational buttons.
