How and why is the free version of Wordfence blocking IP’s that are from my own country of the United States? I have no blocks programmed at all

Top 10 IPs Blocked
IP Country Block Count
18.212.239.189 US 3
52.23.195.165 US 3
54.190.22.189 US 3
54.164.30.145 US 3

Just curious as these could be potential customers.

Hi Frank,

These IPs might have broken some rules in any of the followings:
– Rate Limiting.
– Immediately block IPs that access these URLs.
– Immediately block the IP of users who try to sign in as these usernames.
– IPs that are involved in malicious attacks if you have this option enabled “Participate in the Real-Time Wordfence Security Network“.
