    Hi Jakours2,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

My name is Ales and I am the author of the plugin.

Just to clarify Scrollsequence Free is not time limited and it’s free forever. It is a collection of essential features, to make an image sequence animation with content that is displayed in sync with the timeline.

The 14-day trial you mentioned applies only to the Pro version, which unlocks advanced features and tools for those who want to explore more capabilities. After the trial ends, the plugin automatically reverts to the free version, so you can continue using the basic functionality without any interruption.

You are not in any way forced to start the trial, actually a big part of the active installations are sites using the Free versions. As said above, if you are fine with the essential image sequence animation, Free version is the way to go.

Regarding data sharing: if you prefer not to share any information, you can simply reject the opt-in message shown during plugin activation. The plugin will still work in free mode without sending any data to us.

If you’d like, I will be happy to guide you through setting up a simple animation using the free version. You posted less than an hour ago, I am online as “Ales from Scrollsequence” on Slack (https://join.slack.com/t/scrollsequence/shared_invite/zt-zf0we93n-vRZmTdO4VkPL17vYXGS2OA). If you wish, we can connect there and I can get you up and running in no time.

I hope this clears things up! 😊

I must have missed something because I was never able to save the work I did in the free version. I assumed you had to subscribe to your website in order to save and/or publish. Anyway, I bought the paid version, as you already know. I’ll see.

    Hi Jakours2,

Disabled “Save/Publish” buttons when editing a Scrollsequence usually happens, when the required parameters of an animations are not set. For example, when you add a Scene, and don’t add any images, or when you add animation, and do not set animation values etc.

Here is an article about this behaviour:

Let me know if this helps,

    Ales
