Hello @richardkent001,
this forum is for Newsletter core related topics only, if you have an active license with us you should open a ticket from your account page.
Anyway, to give you some general indications, your workflow should be as follows:
- When a customer place an order, you add his email address to a particular list using the WooCommerce addon.
- You set up an Autoresponder channel targeting the same list with your preferred schedules.
- Registered users are WordPress users, they may be or may be not also subscribers. Newsletter works with subscribers, but you can synchronize WordPress users with Newsletter by using Wp Users addon.

Yes I got to that understanding. You say that Newsletter only works with subscribers. My question is, if a customer doesn’t subscribe can I still add them to a particular list? That’s the only way I can send follow-up emails to ALL customers. I don’t want to force subscribe them. I understand I can only send newsletters to subscribed customer and I’m fine with that.
Hello @richardkent001,
if a customer doesn’t subscribe to your newsletter when purchasing something, a role would still be created in your WordPress user list for that person (“customer”). You can then sync those users using Wp User addon, to make them (unconfirmed) subscribers. But beware, if a customer didn’t allow you to target him with newsletter, it means he doesn’t want to. So be very wary when sending him unwanted newsletters, as it may be seen as spam.

The Users have registered an account, right. Most of my sales are by guest customers that have not registered an account to become Users. I want to send a follow up email to ALL customers, not just registered Users and not just subscribed customers. I think I’ve hit a dead end.
If a customer only performs the purchase and doesn’t register nor subscribe to the newsletter, you have no means of re-contacting them, except with service emails regarding strictly the purchase.
