# Weird problem with redirects

 * This morning when I tried to visit one of the pages on my blog, I got a redirect
   to this install page: [https://johntedesco.net/blog/wp-admin/install.php](https://johntedesco.net/blog/wp-admin/install.php).
   Several other pages have this problem, including the login page. I didn’t do 
   this intentionally and have no idea what’s causing it.
 * This doesn’t seem to be a problem with any posts I’ve checked, the blog’s home
   page, or some blog pages. Only certain pages. I have never seen or heard of this
   problem before. Any ideas what might be causing this? I remember updating some
   plugins yesterday but that’s about it. Thanks …

 * Found a threat that addresses this, will try shutting down Jetpack and see if
   that works.

 * I can see that on your `comments` link.
 * When install.php is invoked, it usually means that WP can access your database
   but is unable to find its tables, thus assuming it’s a new installation.
 * Let’s rule out stuff….
 * This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to **disable all plugins**,
   and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable
   them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

 * Also, since you have a public install link, check your database to make sure 
   no bogus tables have been added!
