Weird Problem: Theme images are replaced by post image

    Hello,

    I’m using Wp v3.2.1 and Wp Super cache.

    For the past few days I have a weird problem on my blog.

    Some of the theme images are replaced by the images inside my posts.
    For Eg.
    mysite.com/wp-content/themes/mytheme/images/bg2.jpg
    is replaced by
    mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/30/apollo-600×800.jpg

    And
    mysite.com/bg005.jpg
    is replaced by
    mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/30/apollo-600×800.jpg

    After refreshing the page for 5 or more times the original bg image is displayed. But this is happening frequently. What’s wrong with my blog ?

    Are you using the CDN functionality in the plugin? Check the CDN tab on the plugin settings page. Maybe there’s something odd happening there. I’ve never heard of filenames being mixed up though.

    Hello Donncha O Caoimh,

    Thanks for coming for help. No. I’m not using CDN.

    To solve this problem,
    I have moved all the “theme images” to photobucket.
    Now there is no mixing up of the images.

    BUT Still ……,

    Pl refer this image: http://i51.tinypic.com/mirg7.png

    In mysite.com/this-is-my-first-post/
    The Large image is replaced by a thumbnail of the first post.
    2 of 3 thumbnails are replaced by the thumbnails of the second post.

    Pl help me.

    Are you using a minification plugin? Have you looked at the source of the page? Are the images replaced in the html source or could it be a css problem?
