    At the bottom of every page, with WP Touch turned on, there are a bunch of links that I can’t figure out how to remove. It lists every page on the site, archives, categories, blogroll, and meta. I have 2 other websites that use WP Touch and this does not happen with either of them. How can I remove all of that? I don’t need all the pages linked at the bottom when they are in the real menu at the top. Thanks for any help!

    That sounds as if the default WordPress sidebar is being called. Perhaps there’s a call in your desktop theme that’s generating that. Normally, WPtouch strips all sidebar calls so it may be one of that theme’s functions.

    I’m very much a beginner… can you please explain how to fix the problem? I’m not sure what you mean by your answer.

    Hi,

    Do you happen to be running the “2011 extensions” plugin on the site in question? If so, turn on “Restricted Mode” in the WPtouch admin panel and see if that helps resolve the issue.

    Thanks for your help.

    I do have the ‘2011 Extensions’ plugin, but turning on ‘restricted mode’ doesn’t seem to make any difference. This has been driving me crazy for weeks! Any other ideas?

    Hi,

    Please add

    <style>
    #sidebar { display: none !important; }
    </style>

    To the “Stats & Custom Code” area in the WPtouch admin panel and let us know if that helps.

    Thank you, this fixed the problem!!
