• Hi everyone,
    I have got a wired issue with my NGGallery,
    my conf. is
    – WordPress (quite old version) 3.6.1
    – NGGallery Version 1.9.13
    I know they are not updated but I need this configuration because my theme it is very old. By the way everything is working fine but just with 3 images I am not able to make them appear in the right way, as you can see here
    http://www.erricomaria.it/abiti-sposa-2015/errico-maria-2015/

    The things I have tried and that didn’t work are:
    -Remove the images and put them back in the gallery;
    -Remove the whole gallery(3 images within it) and recreate with different name;
    -Remove the page and recreate with different name;

    The code I am using is the following: [nggallery id=159]

    Could be the images? I just extract them from PS in .Jpg 800*600 but why if it could be the images if I use them in different page they are showed just fine.

    The wired thing is that if I put them in a different page they are showed fine. If I put different gallery in that page they are showed fine.
    The issue happen just with those 3 pics on that specific page.
    It is unbelievable, I could not figure out what’s wrong.
    Any help or suggestion is appriciated.
    Thank you.

  • @frasviluppo, It could be merely a CSS issue, but:
    First, a theme or a plugin is never ever a reason not to upgrade WordPress, in fact there is never any reason not to upgrade WordPress. The old versions of any software are always buggy, and the risk of being hacked is high. If a theme or a plugin are no longer compatible with WordPress last version, they must be fixed, or changed.
    Second, NextGEN now is at 2.0.66.29 version, and pre-2.0 versions are no longer supported. Authors are different too, and many things have changed.
    Third, the way the images are displayed reveals that there is another plugin added, which can alter the NextGEN default behavior, and it should be investigated for a possible conflict.
    Take your time to update everything (WordPress, theme, plugins) following the recommended proceedings for each of them (and backups, etc.).
    Your is not an amateur site, hire someone if you don’t know how to manage it.

    @tizz, thank you very much for your answer, you are absolutely right and I agree on everything. I will go for your suggestions.
    At the mean time I will disable all the other plugins and I will check the CSS as well.
    Thank you again

    @frasviluppo – These are all very valid points by @tizz, please let us know if you continue to have issues after bringing everything up-to-date.

    Thanks!
