Weird Installation Issues – missing components of WP

  • Hi,

Just installed a fresh copy of WP 3.1.3 on an add-on domain thru Softaculus @ my hosting company. I have a primary domain and a separate add-on domain (completely unrelated domain names) that installed WP thru Soft the same way with no probs.

On this domain/install however, I find that my dashboard is missing the usual WP icons (along the left side menu) and the rating stars on the plugins page look positively funky (yellow highlight and such).

I uploaded screenshots to Picasa here:

I’ve tried deleting everything and re-installing but no dice. The site used to be an inactive blogger blog w only one post (all deleted now) – but I’ve checked and rechecked DNS etc. (all seems to be fine) and as I say, I’ve installed WP with others through this hosting account without any problems.

    Thoughts? Suggestions?
