# Weird Facebook encoding issues

 * Hello there,
 * My mind is absolutely blown with this issue, I’m not sure what’s causing it. 
   When anyone tries to share my newest posts, only the most recent ones for whatever
   reason, it shows up on facebook as symbols. I’ve researched what could be causing
   the encoding issues and haven’t found anything that fixes it.
 * I disabled W3 total cache having read somewhere that it could be the problem,
   but it didn’t fix it. I used a guide to make sure it was completely uninstalled.
 * Those same posts won’t show a thumbnail either, just a bunch of garbled text 
   that’s clearly wrong encoding. Other, older posts show a thumbnail so I don’t
   know what could’ve changed that brought the issue on.
 * Anyone experiencing anything similar? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

 * Sorry to update so soon but I copied the post into a NEW post, saved and then
   tried to share and it worked properly. Could W3 Total Cache have something to
   do with that?
 * I’m still only getting ‘Share on Facebook,Twitter,Google+’ as the descriptions
   but that’s another issue.

 * Anyone have any idea what with W3 could be causing the issue?
 * I’ve switched to WP Faster Cache and haven’t had any of the problems at all but,
   personally, my site seemed to load a bit faster with W3.
