weird "error" notification on Options page

  • Whenever I access the WP Social Blogroll admin Options page, it loads, greys out the scrren and displays a small square solid grey popup that says only “error.” It has an okay button. When that’s clicked, it goes away and I haven’t found anything wrong yet.

Bug of some kind? This is fairly new. Possibly since update to 3.5.1, but I’m not sure.

I’m also getting a pinkish error banner across the top telling me to make my wp-content dir read-only (755). The thing is, it is 755. So why isn’t WPSB seeing that?

Everything seems to work, despite these messages, but it’d be nice to know what they mean.
