 * The “content restriction” menu (available for blocks) should work, but it only
works intermittently depending on access levels. A paragraph (text) with “show
content” set to “logged-out users” isn’t visible to logged-out users, but if
I do the same with an image, it works normally. Why? How can I fix this?
   Also,
if there are five restricted blocks, the default message (you must be logged
in to see this content) appears repeated five times, which is awful and pointless.
Another thing: This is actually a suggestion. I understand that the “show to
Not subscribed” button is meant to help when you have many plans and don’t want
to select/unselect all of them individually, but it ends up being confusing because
it gives the impression that, when the button is enabled, the content is visible
to the tier selected in the previous box _plus logged-out users_. It’s a semantic
issue, not an actual bug, but it could be improved by eliminating the space for
a kind of double negative (I DON’T want to show it to NOT “X”) – actually, it’s
not a true double negative, but “This content is restricted (suggests non-viewing)
and can only be seen by logged-in users that do not have the following subscriptions:
X” is a bit strange. All this confusion could be solved if the plugin considered
something more straightforward for visibility, such as:
 * A) All Subscriptions.
   B) Subscription A Only/Except (tick box).C) Subscription
B Ony/Except (tick box). (…)C) Not Logged Only.D) All users.

 * Hello [@thy80](https://wordpress.org/support/users/thy80/),
 * I would like to start by saying thank you for your suggesting. Feedback form
our current users helps us further improve our plugin.
 * Regarding the content restriction issues you have mentioned having multiple restriction
messages when restricting each element separately. To fix this you can do one
   of the following:
    1. Restrict the entire page using the Content Restriction Meta Box when editing
       the page.
    2. Use the restrict shortcode ( [pms-restrict] and [/pms-restrict] ) which will
allow you to restrict a specific section of your page and only displaying one
restrict message. You can read more about this here: [https://www.cozmoslabs.com/docs/paid-member-subscriptions/shortcodes/#Restrict_Content](https://www.cozmoslabs.com/docs/paid-member-subscriptions/shortcodes/#Restrict_Content)
 * Regarding the issue you have mentioned when some of the text boxes are not properly
restricted, I was not able to reproduce this issue on a local instance. Could
you please send me some additional details?
    1. A screenshot of the page at** Dashboard -> Plugins -> Installed Plugins.** Please
make sure that all of your plugins as well as their versions are clearly visible.
    2. A screenshot of the page at **Dashboard -> Pages -> edit the** **page** with
the **issue**. Please make sure the content restriction rules are clearly visible.

 * Thank you for your answer, Thomas. For my website ideas, restricting blocks or
sections of pages is usually the best option, although I will also make some
whole pages completely restricted (the pages that are entirely exclusive to members).

Initially, I was using the “start/end restriction” block (I couldn’t get shortcodes
to work), until I discovered the native PMS option present in each page block,
which for me is the most practical and extremely convenient way. The summary
of my original problem: the “logged out users” button works correctly to show
an image to logged-out users, but if it’s a paragraph instead of an image, it
doesn’t show anything to logged-out users (explained with captions on the printscreen).
 * I’ve noticed a strange new behavior: the “enable custom message” button is supposed
to show a custom message for **logged-in** members (as stated in the text “Custom
message for logged-in users”), however it appears for **_logged-out_ users**.
Ironically, this is allowing me to work around the original problem and display
a custom message for logged-out users. (also shown with captions on the printscreen).

The drawback of the “Show content to” section (“all users”/”logged in users”/”
logged out users”) is that it doesn’t allow a simultaneous selection of the “
Logged in users” and “Logged out users” categories. For example: Show content
to (simultaneously):– Logged in users: [plan name]– Logged out users (anyone
not logged in) It would be great to have this option.Prints:Plugins: [https://snipboard.io/qmiyVX.jpg](https://snipboard.io/qmiyVX.jpg)
