weird code on top of many php files

    ever since i upgraded to 3.6, i keep having a header error and i can fix it by going through all the files and deleting the spaces but i keep getting a code on the top, for example in my wp-config.php file:

    [hacked code removed]

    I am not sure what that code is but i am thinking it shouldn’t be there and it takes awhile to go through every file and delete the empty space. I don’t delete the code but should i? and what exactly is this?
