Support » Fixing WordPress » Weird behavior when attempting to remove widget

  • When I try to remove a widget from my sidebar, it creates a bunch of empty boxes with dashed borders below it. The more I click and drag the module around (like you would click and drag away to remove the widget from a sidebar), the more these boxes keep generating below.

I have a theme installed. Has anyone ever seen this, know of a remedy or at the very least which files I should take a look at to edit for the admin panel widget to possibly fix this?

  • I found a workaround. I was able to remove the widget by expanding the widget and clicking the “Delete” link instead of dragging the widget off to remove.

I’m still curious if anyone has run in to the issue, however.
