Weird  characters everywhere

    Hello!

    I am new to wordpress and just started my website a week ago.I noticed that when i enter my posts (not when seeing them through the main page) there are weird characters appearing everywhere – characters like this: Â.

    I Have tried googling and there were a few threads about the topic but what they suggested did not solve anything, or switched the  to a question mark inside a diamond character.

    Please help me get rid of these characters, thank you!

    I do not see the characters you describe but there is another error.

    Have you tried:
    -deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. Resave your permalink setting. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    Hey, Thanks for your help!
    I have deactivated the single plugin that I have installed and it did not seem to be the problem. Also tried to resave the Permalinks and that did not help either.

    I suspect it might have something to do with my proofreader, the stuff i read online said something about that the proofreader i copy and paste too is using a different set of characters from the utf-8 and that might be causing the problem, but they’re solutions did not work.

    You can see the problem if you get inside the posts.
