    Hi,

I am trying to configure the weight step option, I’ve gotten my local shipping working with the following:

Countries | Weight | Handling Fee | Shipping Rate | Weight Step
    ZA | 0.001 — ∞ | 46 | 5 | 1

It works 100%. I’ve tried configuring international shipping with the following:

Countries | Weight | Handling Fee | Shipping Rate | Weight Step
    Multiple | 0.001 — ∞ | 183 | 22 | 0.1

That doesn’t work and it seems as though it increments still on 1kg? Maybe I am misunderstanding the weight step. Please can you help. Thanks.

Weight Step is intended to round cart weight by weight units before price for it gets calculated. E.g. if weight step is 0.1 and weight is 1.65 then weight would be assumed as 1.7 (e.g. 17 weight units, 17 x 0.1). Does that make sense?

Also please describe in more details what you get and what you expect to get. “doesn’t work” does not have much sense for me 😉

    Hi,

Ok then I am completely misunderstanding the weight step. I actually want to charge R22 for each 100g and not per kilo on my international shipping.

    Then, just multiply R22 by 10 b/c 10 x 100g = 1kg

Just to calrify. I mean set Shipping Rate to 220. That would result in 22 per 100g.
