Weight Shipping calculation not working

    Hello 🙂

    I got some really strange thing here. I use WP E-Commerce Version 3.8.14.1 (on WP 3.9.1), de_DE, Theme: 2014

    Problem: The shipping cost calculator is not working after the latest update to 3.8.14.x (from 3.8.12.14).

    Reproduce:
    – I cannot fill the weight field for my products. I can type a number (eg ‘5’ kg) in the product, klick update and the field is empty (again)
    – The shipping method ‘Weight Rate’ is enabled (and correctly filled, as it worked fine until today), but no shipping costs are added. The complete ‘shipping costs’ lines are missing in the shopping cart.

    Additionally my error log says:
    stderr: PHP Warning: Illegal string offset ‘weight’ in <PLUGINPATHPATH>/wpsc-includes/processing.functions.php on line 401
    whenever I try to change the shipping rates (by weight).

    Any Ideas? What am I doing wrong here?

    I tried:
    – turning shipping on/off (nothing)
    – change theme ()nothing)
    – re-download WP E-Commerce (nothing)

    Its a bug and completely reproduceable even on new clean installations.

    The weight rate shipping calculator does not work in 3.8.14.1 *rolleyes*
