Weight function not working on free version

    Hello,

    I’m testing out the free version to ascertain the effectiveness of using this CM ADS on my website. So far so good and I’m so much impressed.

    However, the WEIGHT function is not working. When I try to adjust it by a partial figure and save; on checking back, CM ADS automatically adjusts it to 100.

    For example, I set a weight of 20 and save. But on checking back the settings I find CM ADS has set it at 100.

    Is that a known bug or the feature is limited on the free version?

    We have checked the weight option and it is working fine.

    It seems that you have have entered the weight value of 20 and after saving it is showing 100. This is not a bug while save we called “Normalizing Weights” function that convert these weights till sum 100

    e.g.

    If you will add two banners and set weight to
    20 function convert weight into 100

    If you will add two banners and set weight
    20, 20 function convert weight into 50, 50

    If you will add three banners and set weight
    20, 20, 20 function convert weight into 33, 33, 34

    Hope this explain this in a better way

    In other words, you mean the sum of all banners when weight is adjusted have to add up to 100?

    I have done it and I do confirm that it works. Thank you so much.

    When I upgrade will I be required to move over the ads I have created to the upgraded plugin or it will pick up automatically?

    In addition, is there an auto-refresh for ADS? The one that automatically changes the ads when someone stays longer on a page?

    Yes indeed. When upgrading it all pick up automatically. We do not have auto-refresh currently
