# Websocket Connection error

 * while in admin mode i happened to go into developer tools to look at some css
   and noticed in console i get multiple webscocket errors
 *     ```
       jquery-migrate.min.js:2 JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 3.3.2
       ?v=2.0:16 WebSocket connection to 'wss://public-api.wordpress.com/pinghub/wpcom/me/newest-note-data' failed: Error during WebSocket handshake: Unexpected response code: 403

 * Im currently in maintenance mode while doing some changes to the theme and content
   but don’t notice any problems with the site running
 * not sure what the cause could be
