Website works locally but not on live server

Ok firstly this has nothing to do with the base url being wrong, just want to get that out the way.

Basically I’ve made a WordPress theme and it works fine in all browsers both locally and on my hosting except IE8.

It works in IE8 on my local machine fine but when I try and view it on my server in IE8 I just get a blank white page. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

It works fine in ie7 and ie9 by the way.
