# Website with HTML and JAVA conversion

 * Hello all. I want to change my website to WordPress.
    be-s.co.uk 1. How on earth
   do I make the Homepage? I got as far as having the slideshow going on the homepage.
   But I cannot remove the sidebar which is scrambled anyway for some reason. Is
   there a tick for “remove sidebar on page”? I have tried dozens of themes. 2. 
   Is the way I navigate too difficult to reproduce in WordPress? Guidance please.
   Somehow everything I tried does not apply to my situation. Please point me in
   the right direction. I am going backwards and forwards. It is exhausting. Please
   help! Thank you guys.

   Whether your static home page has a sidebar or not will depend upon your theme.

 * Thank you for taking the time to answer my post.
    I got as far as making the 
   homepage as landing page and set the News tab. Now I am trying to customize the
   slider so I can have a floating text on each slide and keep the sidebar only 
   on the News. Any suggestions? Thank you.

 * I understand I am a particular case. But giving up and hiring a professional,
   however attractive ideea, it is not an option for me. Reading?! Yes, my head 
   is spinning. 🙂
    So thank you, I will keep looking. Anyway I have tried Joomla,
   ModX, Pixie, Zimplit, Exponent and many others but WordPress seems to be the 
   closest to what I need. The hard part of settling for a cms is done. Wish me 
   luck and if you find interesting links, please post them for me. Thank you again.
