# WebSite WipeOut – zero posts zero pages

 * inquiringminds.cc established three years no major problems until to days ago.
 * Following a failed publication of an article which hung, the next login showed
   zero posts and zero pages.
 * The public view of the website showed only the home page banner and the message
   not found.
 * My site challenges traditional thinking on various subjects and although at first
   I opted to treat this as a tech prob with the contributor’s email I am now suspecting
   a malicious attack.
 * Has anyone experienced the same or similar?
 * What should I do before restoring from a backup?
 * Can’t seem to dump the 24k spam queue.
 * Oh! and while I’m here asking for help, thank goodness for WordPress and all 
   those who support the phenomena. Brilliant.

 * Have you checked the wp_posts table of your database to see if any of your posts
   are still in there?
