Website very slow with the plugin activated

    I think this plugin need more testing, after activating this plugin website loading become slow, over 10s loading, and it happens randomly, but u will experience slow within 1 minutes. The function is good though, but I won’t recommend to use this unless the slow issues are fixed.

    On the other hand BBQ firewall also works great and without slow, only this blackhole cause slow issues, I hope dev can fix the issue.

    Normally the plugin is very fast with tiny footprint, as can be verified on default WordPress setup. So it must be something interfering in this case. The first thing to check is if any cache plugin is active on site?

    I am not sure now, maybe it’s false positive since it doesn’t happen often, I will test it out more on the way. I was using it on fresh install wp yesterday, with no plugin installed other than blackhole.

    Yeah keep an eye on it. I can tell you that 10K+ users are reporting no slowness of any kind. Most likely there is some configurational issue. Maybe check your site’s error logs for any related entries.
