I went in to general settings this morning to change the url to include www. as my website was not appearing if I put www in and now my website has vanished and I cant log back in. Instead I get a page which says:

The server can not find the requested page:

    http://www.mydg.org.uk/admin (port 80)

Please forward this error screen to http://www.mydg.org.uk‘s WebMaster.

Can someone help me fix it! Thanks

  • If your webhost provides phpMyAdmin in your cPanel, you should be able to use it to open up the wp_options table, then find the http://www.mydog.org.uk entry and very carefully edit it to remove the www portion.

At the risk of stating the obvious, do not change anything else.

Thanks, seems be working better now.
Yep, I wont touch what isnt broke.

Glad to hear that did the trick for you. If everything’s squared away, could you mark this thread as resolved?
