  • Hi,

Thanks for an amazing theme, but i’m having a few problems tweaking my site:

    http://www.theyseemescrollin.com/

What I want to do is:

    1) Replace the current menu with another that allows for an image for its background (basically i’ll be using an edited version of the player/timer that is shown on the background).

    – I believe that a div needs to be created for this, but not sure where that would go in this theme.

    2) Have the background picture one of a random selection of similar sized images upon being loaded.

    3) have the background only reach a certain width/height so it doesnt distort when the window is reduced/expanded.

    – i believe that a div needs to be created for this, and the picture defined within it, as if it was the background (a layer on top if it, perhaps).. but again not sure where in this theme.

    4) The post/page content is central on the page, but the main page icons are slightly to the left. Where would I manipulate this field to center it?

    5) i’m looking to cut out the bottom bar and have that so the new post (cards) scroll up from under it. I assume that this is simply an image posted in the footer?

Thanks for any help you can give me, i’ve created a child theme (and have jetpack/firebug installed) so just need some pointers on what i need to attack and where.

  • Hi,

I’ve been playing around and (for question 4) it was a case of defining the posts as inline-blocks then centering them that resolved that issue. To ensure the posts/pages werent affected too, i added css to <p>.

but any help on the other issues would be awesome 🙂

    thanks
