Hi,
I’m not sure how the code you’ve changed would affect the plugin performance but I’ve reported your findings to the development team so that they can check it.

Hi,
it’s not about that,
the main problem is because our website slows down when we activate the redux plugin.
So, we want to hear from you what can be a reason.
As I mentioned in my comment we’ve tried a lot of options but we would love to hear your suggestion.
Thank you,
Albin
Hi,
Can you try the Query monitor plugin? You can use Query monitor to know the time consumed by every HTTP request and every function call and even every database query.
You can download it from here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/

Hi,
I understand what you are talking but trust us, we tried a lot of options and we came here to help/solution.
Here is a video explanation and you will see a big difference in the website speed.

Please let us know about a possible solution here.

And one more thing,
What permissions need to be for a folder and files: /wp-content/uploads/redux/?
I read somewhere that needs to be 0777 files and folder, can you please explain to us a little bit more?
I’m eager to receive your feedback about this and about the previous question as well.
Thank you,
Albin
Hi,
The /wp-content/uploads/redux should have the 0755 permission recursively. You might check that the health check page to figure out if there is something wrong: /wp-admin/tools.php?page=redux-health
About the performance issue. We didn’t get similar issues recently. So, we don’t have enough data to work on this issue but let’s try to figure out a way to start from.
The performance issue would be:
– A slow PHP script
– A slow query
– A resource that takes much time to load
As you already have the Query monitor installed, you can figure out which hook or database query that slows down the website.
For that, please open a product category page and click the “Hooks & actions” tab in Query monitor and try to find out which action slows down the website.
Also, please open the “Queries” tab and find a query that might slows down the website.
Please consider that issues like this require having the website on my local machine so that I can work on it but unfortunately, the WordPress forum guidelines don’t allow the supporter to ask for such data and we follow the same policy in the Pro Redux support.
Last question, does this issue happen when only Redux and the Twenty Twenty One theme are active?

Hi,
I have tested in different ways:
1 – Activate WPBakery – Deactivate Redux
– works fine, but the website doesn’t look as it needs to be
2 – Deactivate WPBakery – Activate Redux
– slow website and design doesn’t look fine
3 – Activate theme Twenty-twenty – Activate Redux – Deactivated WPBakery
– slow website – design doesn’t look fine
4 – Activate theme twenty-twenty – Deactivate Redux – Activate WPBakery
– between slow and fine, it’s not good
5 – Activate theme Legenda – Deactivate Redux – Activate WPBakery
– design doesn’t look fine, but the website works fast and that is something we need
Will we get support as you mentioned previously, if we buy the PRO version of the REDUX plugin?
Please let me know.
Thank you,
Albin

Just one more thing, our theme, Legenda that we’re using is this one: https://themeforest.net/item/legenda-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/5888906
