 * We have a problem adding products to a new order in the admin panel:
   [https://i.imgur.com/N8KXC96.png](https://i.imgur.com/N8KXC96.png)
 * Search does not work and it does not work specifically for the F20 request.
 * On the All products page, product search is carried out normally:
 * > [View post on imgur.com](https://imgur.com/5wMtBDy)
 * All 23 products are visible. But these products are not in the order.
 * But the search works normally if you search for something else, for example,
   the F30 model
 * > [View post on imgur.com](https://imgur.com/WRTvaHd)
 * We disabled all plugins and installed the standard theme and still the search
   does not work as it should.

 * Hi [@dmitrysomnowellmarketing](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dmitrysomnowellmarketing/),
 * I see you’re having trouble searching for the F20 product while adding new orders
   from the admin panel, but the search for other products like F30 works fine.
   It’s good that you’ve already tried disabling plugins and switching to a default
   theme.
 * Since the issue persists even with defaults, there might be something specific
   with the F20 product causing the issue. Could you please check if the F20 product
   has any unique properties or settings, such as visibility restrictions, that
   might be different from the F30 model and other products?
 * To check the F20 product for unique properties or settings, follow these steps
   in your WooCommerce admin area:
    1. Go to **Products** and search for the F20 product.
    2. Click on the F20 product to edit it.
    3. Check the following sections in the product data:
 * - **General:** Look at the stock status to ensure it’s not set to “Out of stock,”
      and verify that the visibility setting is “Catalog/search.”
    - **Inventory:** Make sure “Manage stock” is set appropriately and the product
      isn’t marked as “Sold Individually” if it should be available for bulk orders.
    - **Linked Products:** Ensure that there are no unexpected configurations under“
      Upsells” or “Cross-sells” that might affect search functionality.
    - **Attributes:** If the F20 uses specific attributes, make sure they are set
      correctly and are comparable to those of other searchable products like the
      F30.
    - **Advanced:** Here, check if the menu order is set in a way that might affect
      its visibility or if there are custom purchase notes that could be causing
      issues.
 * Remember to click **Update** if you make any changes to save them.
 * Please let me know how it goes.

 * _General: Look at the stock status to ensure it’s not set to “Out of stock,”
   and verify that the visibility setting is “Catalog/search.”_
 * It’s a Variable product, it’s not Out of stock. This product is marked as Shop
   and search results
 * _Inventory: Make sure “Manage stock” is set appropriately and the product isn’t
   marked as “Sold Individually” if it should be available for bulk orders._
 * Sold individually – option is not selected.
 * _Linked Products: Ensure that there are no unexpected configurations under “Upsells”
   or “Cross-sells” that might affect search functionality._
 * Linked Products – Empty, nothing selected.
 * _Attributes: If the F20 uses specific attributes, make sure they are set correctly
   and are comparable to those of other searchable products like the F30._
 * There is no difference in the parameters of the two products. There are 2 parameters:
   Vendor and Size
 * _Advanced: Here, check if the menu order is set in a way that might affect its
   visibility or if there are custom purchase notes that could be causing issues._
 * There’s nothing selected. Everything is the same as other products.
 * ** The problem is not in any one product, but in the search as a whole.**
 * For example, the search does not find anything on the request AirFit [https://i.imgur.com/xos2mUl.png](https://i.imgur.com/xos2mUl.png)
 * Although the usual search it finds 70 products [https://i.imgur.com/aqVj2jx.png](https://i.imgur.com/aqVj2jx.png)
 * But if we write the name in full, everything works [https://i.imgur.com/yWBIBLi.png](https://i.imgur.com/yWBIBLi.png).

 * Hello [dmitrysomnowellmarketing](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dmitrysomnowellmarketing/),
 * Thank you for your reply.
 * It seems something is interfering with WooCommerce’s search functionality.
 * I understand you’ve already tried disabling plugins, but for more effective troubleshooting,
   I recommend creating a staging site to run a [conflict test](https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/).
   This will help identify the exact cause of the issue.
 * Let me know when you have set up a staging site and performed the [conflict test](https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/).
 * Looking forward to your response. 🙂

 * Dear support,
   We have disabled absolutely all plugins.[https://i.imgur.com/hWni4uh.png](https://i.imgur.com/hWni4uh.png)
   Changed theme to StorefrontVersion: 4.6.0[https://i.imgur.com/ZKsKra5.png](https://i.imgur.com/ZKsKra5.png)
   But search still does not work in normal mode.For the F20 request, it shows absolutely
   not what is needed.[https://i.imgur.com/g7nSVhd.png](https://i.imgur.com/g7nSVhd.png)
   There should be more than 40 products[https://i.imgur.com/HP44HcM.png](https://i.imgur.com/HP44HcM.png)
   For the Airfit request, nothing shows up at all[https://i.imgur.com/jGob72i.png](https://i.imgur.com/jGob72i.png)
   Although there are more than 100 such products[https://i.imgur.com/8nsblgo.png](https://i.imgur.com/8nsblgo.png)
   We are not the only ones with a search problem[https://wordpress.org/support/topic/search-results-relevancy/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/search-results-relevancy/)
   I think that we also have a problem because of the special symbol TMSince all
   the names contain it AirFit™ and so on.I want to know. Can you offer any solution
   to this problem?

 * Hi [@dmitrysomnowellmarketing](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dmitrysomnowellmarketing/),
   this certainly is peculiar.
 * I’m not convinced the issue is just the normal appearance of `F20` or the `™`
   symbol per se. I did a quick test on my sandbox site and added some of the names
   from your earlier screenshots. The search from both the product list and within
   the Order edit screen seems to work as expected, making it seem like the issue
   is specific to your site’s particular setup.
 * ![](https://i0.wp.com/cldup.com/BKymTHi5dm.png?ssl=1)
 * **Before you continue, please make a site backup**.
 * First, let’s try to rebuild indexes that play a part in this process. This could
   fix issues that may have resulted from adding the products.
    1. Go to WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Tools.
    2. Click the two **Clear transients** buttons.
    3. Click the **Product Lookup Tables** > **Regenerate** button.
 * Once that’s done, test your workflow again to see if the issue has been resolved.
 * If not, here’s what’s next: your System Status Report shows your site is set
   to English, but your screenshots show you also have Spanish as a secondary language.
   I assume this explains why you have duplicate product names, for instance `AirFit**
   ™** F20` shows up twice?
 * I’ve encountered character encoding issues in similar circumstances before, and
   that can sometimes lead to unexpected behavior. So, let’s see what we can find.
    1. When you’re in the Edit order screen and searching for products, can you right-
       click anywhere, select **Inspect** from the context menu, and select **Console**?
       Do you see any errors appear in the panel as you search for products? Feel free
       to share a screenshot of what you see there.
    2. If you go to WP Admin > Product, can you click the **Export** button and export
       your products (select only the **Name and Description columns**, no need for
       the rest). Inspect the resulting file, and check to see if you see any odd characters.
       You can upload that file somewhere as well, and share the link here so we can
       have a closer look.
 * I look forward to your reply!

 * Hi [@dmitrysomnowellmarketing](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dmitrysomnowellmarketing/),
 * It looks like you’re encountering several errors when trying to search for a
   product using specific terms on your Orders page, particularly with the term “**
   F20**.” From what I can see, an `admin-ajax.php` error is occurring, which may
   indicate something is blocking this specific search term.
 * Generally, `admin-ajax` requests can result in 403 errors if there’s interference.
   Could you check the response for this request and see if it provides any additional
   details on the error?
 * Additionally, I recommend consulting your hosting provider to investigate further,
   as this type of issue often relates to security measures like **_ModSecurity _**
   or **_Web Application Firewalls (WAF)_** that may be blocking certain requests.
 * Please let us know what you find, and if you need further assistance!

 * **Generally, AJAX requests can result in 403 errors if there’s interference.

 * Once again, I tell you that this is not an error.

 * The request was canceled because a new character was added to the search field
   before the current request was completed. If you press the keys on the keyboard
   once a second, all requests will be canceled, since there is already a new search
   condition.
 * > [View post on imgur.com](https://imgur.com/EBY1IB9)
 * This is definitely not the problem. There are no firewalls on the server. We
   sent all the information in the first message.

 * To help us troubleshoot further, we’ll need a complete System Status Report.
   I noticed that database information was redacted in your initial report. If you’d
   prefer to keep your report private, you can use tools like [quickforget.com](https://quickforget.com/)
   or [Pastebin](https://pastebin.com/) to share information on this forum. keep
   the file visible for a few days so we can take a closer look, and then delete
   it.
   Also, could you check if there are any server-side errors that might be
   affecting WooCommerce? These errors are often recorded in your site’s **error
   logs**, which can be accessed through your hosting control panel (such as cPanel
   or Plesk) or by contacting your hosting provider for assistance.
 * If you’re able to locate any recent error messages related to WooCommerce, please
   share those here. This information can give us more insight into what might be
   causing the issue.
 * Additionally, could you please provide a screenshot of the **Product settings(
   Product data)** for the specific products where the search isn’t working (e.g.,
   model F20)? This will allow us to replicate the setup on our end and get a better
   understanding of the issue.
   The more information we have, the more accurately
   we can assist you.
