Website Running Slow…

    Hi,

    I am new to WordPress, and I am just in the midst of creating a website. The loading time is super-slow compared to most sites. I tried deactivating all the plugins, which did not help at all. I also deleted most of the images I had uploaded, thinking that maybe the file size was too big. Still no luck.

    Can anyone help me to figure this out??

    hey

    there is a lot of information in web how to analyse your site speed.
    – read them.
    – then test your install with tools (described in thos articles)
    – analyse your results.

    if you will need help post your results here, otherwise not possible to help you 😉

    Have you run your site through online tools like GTMetrix and WebPageTest?

    They can provide insight on the load time issue.

    Hi Lorenzo- Thank you for the sites. I ran it through GTMetrix and this is what came back:

    (The first 3 on the list got a grade of ‘F’ and the last 2 a grade of ‘C’- the rest came back as A’s)…

    *Enable gzip compression
    *Leverage browser caching
    *Minify CSS
    *Minify JavaScript
    *Minify HTML
