Website reverts back to old domain after giving wordpress its own directory
Hello I’m kind of a wordpress newbie here so forgive me if I misuse any lingo. Basically I hired a developer to convert my basic static html/css website into a wordpress site. They made it so I could view their work by going to my website and adding /dev to the end of the domain. Now that the work was completed they want me to pay extra to make the website show up without adding the /dev to the end of my domain. I tried doing this myself by following these instructions:http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory
Specifically, the “Using a pre-existing subdirectory install” instructions. I managed to get it to work half way. Now the new website that was on the /dev can be accessed just by going to the regular domain. However, if I click on posts or anything else on the website, it reverts back to adding /dev to the end of the domain. Any idea how I can fix this? Thanks
