Website posts, Titles, New Posts are not indexing and Updating on SERP

    Hi yoast team!
    I have installed Yoast SEO Plugin and it is not working on my WP Site.

    My 2 month old posts, pages, Titles and Fevicon is show in Google Serp.

    I am trying from 2 months and i have publish 20+ posts they are not updating.

    Please tell me reason.

    I have installed Yoast, Clear the Caches, Update everything but problem same.

    @easypakistan Can you please provide us with an example URL of some of the pages you are experiencing this issue on?

    Also, we would recommend checking to make sure the robots meta tag is NOT set to ‘noindex‘ for the page/post in Yoast SEO, and you can check this setting by performing the following actions:

      • In WordPress, go to the Edit screen for a page/post
      • Scroll down to the Yoast Metabox
      • Click on the ‘Advanced’ area
      • For ‘Allow search engines to show this Page in search results?’ make sure this is set to ‘Yes’
      * Note (setting this value to Yes will set meta robots to index and setting No would set meta robots to noindex)

    In addition, you can set pages/posts to be indexed by performing the following actions:

      • In WordPress, go to SEO>Search Appearance>Content Types
      • For Pages set ‘Show Pages in search results’ to ‘Yes’
      • Click ‘Save Changes’

    We confirmed your website appears on Google search and also the posts appear onGoogle news search.

    Can you please provide us some specific post URLs that you think are not updating/appearing in Google search results? This would help us investigate the issue. Also, please activate the Yoast SEO plugin on your site.

    It is showing pn Google but which posts and pages are indexed they are not updated.
    I have changed Title of some posts they are not updating on SERP.

    Also you can check my site Fevicon is changed.

    This fevicon was used on my site previously 4 months ago and now before 2 months i changed fevicon.

    And also check this url title in SERP.

    There are many other pages which are not updated there.

    IN Search console My sitemap was last crawled on 29 November.

    It means that my site iS not crawling there is some issue.
    I check sitemap it is fine.

    Thanks for the additional information. As we proceed, it seems you’ve currently deactivated the Yoast SEO on your website. Would you please activated it and also confirmed you’ve enabled the sitemap (SEO>General> Features)? This would help us investigate the metadata outputted on the source code of the post and help to get some insight on whether Yoast SEO is working fine.

    Here are the screenshots you can check last read date and errors which I am getting from it.

    I have activated its sitemap but after submitting it to search console it did not work.

    On Bing, it is working fine but the problem came on Google SERP and Sitemap.
    Sitemap is opening correctly but the problem is reading it. It says that Sitemap is an HTML File.

    We looked at your site https://www.easypakistan.com/ and we couldn’t find any SEO meta generated by the Yoast SEO plugin even though Yoast SEO is currently active on your website. So, there’s probably something that’s preventing outputting the Yoast SEO generated meta on your site.

    To find out the exact cause of the issue, we’d like you to please perform a conflict check and look at the page source code to see whether Yoast SEO is generating the essential SEO meta on your site.
